Sohad Khafagy

Sohad Khafagy is a credentialed science teacher. She has taught in public, charter, Islamic, and weekend schools for the past 24 years. Her teaching experience spanned many educational institutions: Bright Horizon Academy of San Diego, SunCoast Charter School, MCC Al-Manar Weekend School, Islamic Weekend School of Riverside, and Peace Terrace Academy of Fremont.
Other work experience: Lecturer – Redlands Unified School District Invited to speak on Middle Eastern culture, history, and Arabic language. Program Coordinator – Youth Summer Camp in Redlands Developed a 6-week program to enrich youth through art activities, Arabic classes, and field trips. Co-Leader – Girl Scout Organized hands-on activities, outdoor events, and camps for troops in Santa Clara County—volunteered NUA Youth RoboCamp in San Diego.
