Level 3

This level will build upon the basic skills gained in the Arabic Intro class. The vocabulary learned in this course will focus on family life, school, and the extended family. By the end of this course, students should be able to hold a basic conversation about themselves, their family, home, culture, school, and their likes and dislikes.

Qur’anic Memorization

• Juz Amma – Short Surahs with their meanings
• Reading with tajweed
• Learning selected vocabulary words from the Surahs

Islamic History

• Teaching the meaning and demonstration of the entire Salat (including Wudu), Adhaan, and Iqama
• Selection of Hadith to teach morals
• Class presentations on selected aspects of the Seerah, followed by open discussion
• The life of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) after the Hijrah
